Poster certification
By submitting a listing, you certify that the opportunity is legitimate, accurate, authorized by the hiring organization, and compliant with applicable employment laws and this policy. You must promptly update or close a listing when material information changes or the opportunity is no longer available.
Required clarity
Listings must accurately identify the organization, role, location or remote expectations, job type, schedule, duties, application route, and compensation or unpaid volunteer status. Do not hide material conditions, inflate earnings, misstate benefits, or use a title that disguises the actual work.
Some states and localities require job postings to include a pay range, benefits information, or both, including, in some states, postings for remote roles that could be performed from that state. The poster is responsible for determining whether a pay-transparency law applies to a listing and for complying with it.
Prohibited listings and conduct
- Fake jobs, scams, phishing, identity theft, check-cashing, reshipping, money-transfer, or cryptocurrency schemes.
- Any requirement that an applicant pay an application, training, equipment, placement, background-check, starter-kit, or similar fee to be considered.
- Multi-level marketing, commission recruiting, or business-opportunity schemes presented as employment.
- Misleading, missing, or bait-and-switch compensation, duties, schedule, location, organization, or application routing.
- Requests for unnecessary sensitive information, including bank details, government identifiers, or account credentials, before a legitimate hiring need and secure process exist.
- Unlawful discrimination, harassment, retaliation, exploitation, unsafe work, or requests to break the law.
- Unpaid trials, speculative work, or demands for free deliverables that primarily benefit the poster.
- Listings that infringe intellectual property, impersonate another organization, or use an organization's name without authority.
Faith-based hiring criteria
A religious organization may identify sincerely held faith, denomination, doctrine, membership, conduct, or ministerial expectations when it reasonably believes the role and applicable law permit those criteria. The listing should clearly connect any religious requirement to the organization and role.
Religious status does not create a blanket exemption from every employment law. Criteria unrelated to religious tenets may remain prohibited. Atlanta Church Creatives does not determine whether the ministerial exception or another exemption applies. The poster is responsible for obtaining legal advice and defending its criteria.
Volunteer opportunities
Volunteer listings must support a genuine charitable or religious purpose, be clearly labeled unpaid, describe the real time commitment and support provided, and allow the person to understand the nature of the service before agreeing. Do not use Volunteer to replace paid staff, avoid minimum wage or overtime, require an unpaid trial, promise exposure instead of pay, or label a commercially controlled role as volunteering.
Classification
Atlanta Church Creatives' Full-Time, Part-Time, Contract/Freelance, Temporary, Internship, and Volunteer labels are discovery tools only. The poster is responsible for determining legal employee, contractor, intern, or volunteer status and for taxes, wages, overtime, benefits, insurance, permits, and required notices.
Safety and roles involving minors
Atlanta Church Creatives does not conduct background checks. Organizations are responsible for screening, reference checks, safeguarding, supervision, access controls, and policies appropriate to the role. Listings involving minors, vulnerable people, finances, facilities, or sensitive systems must not imply that Atlanta Church Creatives has cleared or endorsed an applicant.
Enforcement
Atlanta Church Creatives may request edits, reject, pause, remove, or report a listing or account. A serious or repeated violation may result in suspension or termination. Removal for a policy violation is handled under the Refund and Cancellation Policy.
Report a concern
Use Report this listing on the job detail page, or send a report here. Include the listing, reason, and helpful evidence. Atlanta Church Creatives may preserve information and contact the poster, reporter, service provider, or authorities when appropriate.
